On May 28, 2026, the 17th Exhibition-Festival “Partner Countries of VSUET: A Kaleidoscope of Cultures” took place at Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies (VSUET). The event gathered over 300 participants – students of our university, as well as guests from other educational institutions representing more than 50 countries around the world.

Welcoming addresses were delivered by Oksana Stukalo, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities; Vladimir Ivanov, member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Public-State Organization “Assembly of Peoples of Russia”, Chairman of the Voronezh Region Regional Branch, head of the amateur association “Voronezh House of Friendship”, and member of the National Chamber under the Governor of the Voronezh Region; as well as Evgeny Chigirin, Director of the Institute of International Cooperation at VSUET.

The customs, music, languages, and art of every nation make our shared land truly beautiful. And today, all participants of our festival are united by Russia, united by VSUET. We want Russia to become for each of you not just a country on the map, but a place of strength, inspiration, and new discoveries,” noted Evgeny Chigirin.

The festival's creative program was rich and diverse: a student of our university, Lina Magzub, performed the song “My Russia”; the Caucasian dance ensemble “Wingbeat” performed “Rhythms of Baku”; Mutagatifu Bona introduced the audience to a contemporary dance from Rwanda; and attendees also enjoyed a traditional dance of Kazakhstan.

Guests from various countries also presented their performances: a traditional Guinean dance by undergraduate students and students of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens; a musical piece by an African international group from Guinea, Benin, and Congo; as well as creative performances by students from Bangladesh, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Angola. A tasty addition to the program was the introduction to the culinary traditions of the participants. Everyone who wished could sample national dishes prepared by students from different countries.

The international exhibition “Partner Countries of VSUET: A Kaleidoscope of Cultures” once again became a bright event at our university, demonstrating unity, friendship, and respect for the cultures of different peoples.
