On September 30th, an agreement was signed between the State University of Management (GUU) and the Russian-African Network University (RAFU) consortium, and GUU became the 100th Russian university to join RAFU.

The collaboration between RAFU and GUU will contribute to strengthening cooperation in the field of education, science and management training for Russia and the countries of the African continent.
The State University of Management plans to actively participate in RAFU projects aimed at implementing joint educational programmes with leading African universities and creating new forms of inter-university cooperation, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of Russian-African academic partnership and strengthen intercultural dialogue between Russia and Africa.

Earlier, in 2023, representatives of the State University of Management, led by Rector Vladimir Stroev, participated in the second Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg. During the event, interdepartmental memoranda of cooperation were signed with the Central African Republic, Mozambique and Djibouti.
"The RAFU Consortium is constantly evolving, and we are always delighted to welcome new universities to its ranks. An important milestone has been reached in the consortium's development: 100 Russian universities is a significant number, and we are proud of this achievement and the work done by our project office and the contribution made by each member of the consortium to the development of Russian-African cooperation in the field of education and science." - M.N. Zalivsky, Head of the RAFU Project Office.
