A Moroccan woman, an honours graduate of Astrakhan Medical University who fell in love with Russia, became a citizen of our country.

A solemn ceremony was held in Astrakhan to administer the oath of allegiance and present a Russian Federation passport to 26-year-old Iman El Bzioui, a native of the Kingdom of Morocco. Having arrived nine years ago to pursue her education, she fell in love with our country and decided to stay.

The young woman graduated with honours from Astrakhan State Medical University with a degree in medicine and is now studying cardiology as a resident.

After completing her residency, the young doctor plans to work at the Federal Centre for Cardiovascular Surgery in Astrakhan.
