A grand cultural event took place at Abidjan's main concert venue: the performance "Dances of the World," which brought together artists from Russia and Côte d'Ivoire on one stage.
The event was organized by ARUCI, the Association of Russian Speakers in Côte d'Ivoire, which is the official representative of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Côte d'Ivoire.

The Minister of Culture and Francophonie of Côte d'Ivoire, Françoise Remarque, sent her official representative to the event, who read her greeting to the participants of this cultural and educational project.
Representatives of municipal and cultural institutions attended the event as guests of honor.

The artistic program opened with a performance by Ivorian artists featuring a composition created jointly by choreographers Herman Nicoco and Ilya Saushkin. Artists from the Russian State Institute of Theatre Arts presented a series of vibrant dance numbers, showcasing the rich cultural traditions of different peoples around the world.
The highlight of the evening was a performance by the renowned Ivorian dance troupe Aaninka. In addition, artists from GITIS and dancers from the Aaninka ensemble performed an Ivorian dance together, symbolizing cultural unity and creative dialogue between countries.

The performance was attended by representatives of the country's leading media outlets, including Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI - central television and state radio), Radio Yopougon, the Fraternité Matin newspaper, and the Abidjan.net news portal.
The ARUCI Association would like to express its gratitude to the GITIS Institute and the CNAC Center for their fruitful cooperation, as well as to the Russian Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire for its organizational support of the project.
Earlier, Tatiana Rakitina, head of ARUCI, visited St. Petersburg with a delegation from Côte d'Ivoire as part of cooperation with RAFU and the RAFU Summer Multidisciplinary University at SPbSAU.
