The Russian-Arabic Language and Culture Club has opened at the Humanities Institute of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. This student project was created to promote communication, language practice, and familiarity with the traditions of Russia and Arab countries.

The initiative belongs to students majoring in Foreign Regional Studies (Arabic Language) and the head of the SPbPU Egyptian Student Association, Youssef Basem Hassan Abdel Samie Mohamed, a student majoring in World Economy and International Economic Relations at Polytech.

The club is designed as an open and friendly space where foreign students, primarily from Arab countries, can practice spoken Russian, and Russian students and students from other countries can practice Arabic, discuss films and books, hold movie nights, themed meetings, national cuisine days, and small master classes. The organizers emphasize an informal atmosphere and lively dialogue—without strict rules, but with a real opportunity to improve language skills and find like-minded people.

The project is being implemented with the support of the SPbPU Humanitarian Institute, the Harmony Volunteer Project Center, and the SPbPU Nations' Union. This format of cooperation helps students launch initiatives independently and receive organizational support from the university.
Employees of the RAFU project office were invited to the club's opening. We always welcome student initiatives that promote international communication and strengthen humanitarian ties.

The Russian-Arabic Club is open to students, teachers, and anyone interested in the culture of the Arab world. The organizers invite students from Polytech and other universities in St. Petersburg to join the meetings and work together to develop a new student space for communication and shared ideas.
