Representatives of African countries have successfully completed the educational track "Actual Problems of Electric Power Engineering" organized by MPEI as part of the Russian-African Grid University (RAFU) Summer Multidisciplinary University project.
In the course of the program, the participants took an intensive course "Actual Problems of Electric Power Engineering" developed by the Department of Electric Power Systems, visited profile objects - Dubna University, the Museum of History of PJSC Mosenergo and the Military Training Center of MPEI.
At the end of the training, the trainees not only successfully passed the certification and defended their projects before the expert committee, but also expressed their general gratitude to the organizers: the program was rich, interesting and gave a unique experience that motivates many to continue their studies in the university programs of the National Research University "MPEI".
As Nikolay Dmitrievich Rogalev, Rector of MPEI, noted, "Russian-African cooperation is a bridge of knowledge and professional development. Such initiatives strengthen academic and cultural ties and make it possible to train specialists capable of solving urgent tasks in the energy sector for the economies of their countries".
The project was coordinated by the Directorate for Integration Policy Development on the part of the National Research University "MPEI".
