Tambov State Technical University held an LMU RAFU 2026 for teachers, students and postgraduate students from Algeria.

During the week, the educational program for the guests was dedicated to improving the quality of training of engineering teachers in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The Algerian guests visited the leading research divisions of TSTU: the Department "Technique and Technology of Nanoproduction", the "Vernadsky" Technopark and the university's Northern Campus. Leading TSTU scientists delivered lectures and master classes for the foreign specialists on carbon nanomaterial technologies, microprocessor system design, topology optimization in mechanical engineering, modern IT methods, and the strategic environmental project "EcoGREEN".

In addition to the academic block, a rich cultural program was organized for the guests. The delegation got acquainted with the traditions, history, and architectural heritage of Russia and the Tambov region. Teachers and postgraduate students from Algeria went on an excursion to the Tambov City Duma, visited the Aseev Estate Museum Complex, took part in master classes at the Tambov Regional Art Gallery and in interactive programs about traditional Russian culture and cuisine. The guests were impressed by their acquaintance with the Russian folk ensemble "Bereginya" — the artists presented the program "Russian Festivities: From Cuisine to Khorovod," immersing the participants in the atmosphere of folk traditions.

Riadh Meguelatti, Vice-Rector for External Relations, Cooperation and Communication, University of Batna 2 thanked the TSTU:

“Participating in the summer school was a real pleasure for us. We greatly appreciate the warm welcome, hospitality, and excellent organization of our stay in Tambov.
