ROSBIOTECH, one of the universities of RAFU, once again celebrated Maslenitsa with fun and excitement. The holiday brought students and teachers together, becoming a vivid symbol of friendship, cultural exchange, and the coming of spring.

The atmosphere at the university was truly warm and heartfelt: students danced in circles, participated in folk games, took group photos, and enjoyed pancakes. The hall was filled with laughter, applause, and national music from different countries, and the celebration itself turned into a real festival of cultures.

Foreign students learned about Russian Maslenitsa traditions, the significance of each day of the festive week, and the symbolism of pancakes as the sun—a harbinger of spring. In response, they shared stories about spring holidays in their countries, creating a lively dialogue between cultures.

The students were happy to share their impressions:

"I was very happy to dance and see the traditions of this holiday!" said Victor, an African student at ROSBIOTECH from Zambia.

"I really enjoyed the holiday because there were not only Russian and African students here, but many others as well. A big mix of cultures creates a sense of unity," shared a student from Africa.

The university expressed special gratitude to the Institute of Food Systems and Health-Promoting Technologies for helping to organize the holiday and, of course, for the delicious pancakes, which were the main decoration of the table.

Maslenitsa at ROSBIOTECH is not just a folk holiday, but a living tradition that unites different cultures and generations. Spring begins with smiles, friendship, and, of course, pancakes!
