With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, a pilot project entitled "International Olympiad of the Russian-African Network University" is being launched for future master's degree students.

The main objective of the competition is to identify talented bachelor's degree graduates from African countries who are interested in continuing their education at Russian universities. The competition will be held remotely in Russian and English and will consist of two stages:

  1. Preliminary stage: portfolio competition (achievements in studies, science, project activities).
  2. Final stage: online interview based on the selected training profile.

Participants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge in four key areas: Economics and Management, International Relations and Humanities, Computer Science, Engineering and Future Technologies, and Biomedicine and Cognitive Sciences.

As part of a pilot project, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Russian Federation has allocated 20 budget places for master's programs at Russian universities that are members of the RAFU Consortium.

The coordinator of the Olympiad is the National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky.

This year, 13 Russian universities have expressed their intention to act as co-organizers of the project.

We hope to expand this project next year!
