From July 29 to August 7, the summer school ‘Tools and Means of Automation of Technical Systems’ took place. During 10 days, students from the following countries: Togo, Lebanon, Cameroon, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Guinea, Egypt, Gambia, and Chad underwent intensive training in programming on controllers, studying SCADA systems, and developing training projects based on the acquired knowledge. The Department of Automation and Control in Technical Systems provided the lectures for the training.

The training was conducted by lecturers from the Department of Automation and Control in Technical Systems.
In addition to the educational part, the students were immersed in the cultural environment of Samara. During 10 days, under the careful guidance of the International Cooperation Department, the students had time to go on a city tour, where they heard a lot of fascinating stories about Samara. They visited the Art Museum, the Samara Space Museum, Garibaldi Castle, and the Geological and Mineralogical Museum of SamSTU.
