Students from Egypt, Benin, Nigeria, Tunisia, Sudan, and Nigeria attended a rich historical, cultural, and educational programme from South Federal University.
Within the framework of the Russia-Africa Summer Multidisciplinary University, Southern Federal University implemented two tracks: cultural and historical, which involves getting acquainted with the history and ecological routes of the Rostov region and the Republic of Adygea, and educational—organizing ecological tours and excursions in protected natural areas.

During a trip to the Republic of Adygea, participants of the Russia-Africa Multidisciplinary University visited one of the thirteen UNESCO natural sites in Russia—the Caucasus Biosphere Nature Reserve, where they saw such natural monuments as the Circassian Stone, the Belaya River Granite Gorge, the Belaya River Canyon—Khajokh Gap, the waterfalls of the Rufagbo River, and the Dakh River within the Dakhovsky Reserve.

To demonstrate that knowledge about ecological tourism has been acquired, African students prepared projects of ecological tours in Egypt, Sudan, and Nigeria with a comprehensive assessment of their attractiveness for foreign tourists.

At the closing ceremony, after the defence of the projects, the participants of the multidisciplinary university were presented with certificates and advanced training certificates of the Southern Federal University.
