RAFU days in Morocco

The "RAFU Days" started in Casablanca, Morocco. The event is organized by the coordinator of RAFU - Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The delegation of the consortium includes leading Russian universities:

• Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University,
• Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod,
• St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine,
• Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia,
• St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design,
• Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

The main venue for the "RAFU Days" was the 34th International Student Forum in Casablanca (Le Forum International de l'Étudiant). It is one of the largest educational exhibitions in Morocco and the region, annually gathering over 200,000 visitors and more than 800 participants from around the world.

This year, 25 countries are participating in the exhibition. At the joint RAFU booth, six Russian universities are presenting their educational programs to Moroccan applicants, demonstrating the opportunities and advantages of studying in Russia within the framework of the Russian-African Network University.

Working at the RAFU booth there are also graduates from the consortium's member universities. Among them are representatives of the SPbPU Alumni Association in the Kingdom of Morocco, Omar Sabri and Ahmed Shinaf. They advised exhibition visitors in Arabic and French, shared their personal experience of studying at Russian universities, and talked about career paths after graduation.
