Hassan II University delegation visits SPSUTD

A representative delegation from one of Morocco's largest universities, Hassan II University of Casablanca, visited Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.

During a roundtable meeting led by Alexey Pastukhov, Head of International Integration and Educational Programs at SPSUTD, colleagues from Hassan II University of Casablanca learned about the university's structure and the Russian education system as a whole, and discussed prospects for cooperation.

During their visit to Saint Petersburg, the guests visited the SPSUTD University Laboratory of Digital Solutions, the PromTechDesign Boiling Point, where the defense of graduation projects by students of the SPSUTD Institute of Costume Design was taking place, as well as research laboratories of the Higher School of Technology and Energy.

The arriving delegation included the Vice-President of Hassan II University, directors of institutes and higher schools of electronics and mechanics, computer science and technology, economics and social sciences, as well as specialists in research development and international relations. This already makes it possible to discuss the prospects of signing a cooperation agreement and planning effective academic and scientific collaboration.

SPSUTD joined the RAFU Consortium less than a year ago, but shows great interest in cooperation with African countries and is actively working within the framework of RAFU activities. Earlier this year, a SPSUTD delegation participated in the RAFU Days in Morocco, including a visit to Hassan II University in Casablanca.
